About Flora Colledge

Flora Colledge is a professional triathlete who specializes in extreme long-distance races. She is also a lecturer and researcher. She started triathlon at the age of 28. At 32, she received her first professional license and specialized in long distance. Today Flora is one of the world’s best. In addition to this demanding profession, the lecturer and researcher of sports science trains between 22 and 30 hours a week and competes in eight events annually. We are really delighted to sponsor Flora this year and are excited to be able to support her in her passion.

A success story

When we first met Flora, we didn’t know much about extreme triathlon. But let us tell you, she is an incredible woman with such a positive energy and mindset. This is what has always inspired us. Extreme triathlon takes both mental strength and endurance – a lot of endurance (check out Norseman and you will know what we are talking about). Flora is also a great motivational speaker, and she has already shared some incredible insights and ideas with our international BASWA partners and us. Our entire team is looking forward to our next event with Flora (it might involve a little training session as well).

Speaking of endurance – our BASWA solutions stand for durability, and we put an emphasis on engineering, producing and installing long-lasting acoustic ceilings. Gold for the third time in a row

Flora won her third consecutive gold medal at the Swissman at the end of June 2022. A truly impressive achievement! We’re thrilled for her and happy for her achievements. The Swissman is a long-distance triathlon with one of the most stunning routes in the world. It begins in the south of the country and travels via three Alpine passes into the heart of Switzerland. The finish line is reached after a final ascent at the foot of the massive mountain landscapes of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
